BUS :
Despite the limited public transportation options available at Marrakech Airport, there is a shuttle bus service that not only provides direct transportation to your hotel, but also makes stops at key locations throughout the city.

L19 Express Bus
By L19 Express Bus you can transfer from Marrakech Airport to further destinations within the city such as Hivernage, Bab Doukkala, Marrakech Railway Station, Jemaa el-Fna, Gueliz, etc.
This shuttle bus serves all major hotels in Marrakech.
Schedule
From 06:00am to 11:30am.
The frequency is every 20 minutes. Please note that on weekends there is less bus frequency.
Total travel time is 40 minutes.

CITY BUSES :
If traveling on a budget, bus routes 11, 12, 18, 20, and 33 get to downtown Marrakesh from the airport.
Buses depart 500 meters from the terminals (at Avenue Guemassa).
Bus 11 covers the route from M’Hamid district to the long-distance bus station located in Bab Doukkala by Jeema El Fna.
The one-way ticket fare is MAD 4.00.
Taxi :
Taking a taxi is a convenient way to travel from Marrakech Airport to the city center, as the airport is situated 5 kilometers away. The transfer time usually ranges from 15 to 30 minutes depending on traffic conditions. To ensure a safe and reliable taxi ride, it’s advised to avoid the taxis waiting directly outside the terminal arrivals and instead walk to the nearby car park where several taxis are available. The taxis located directly in front of the terminal belong to an organized gang and are not recommended for use.

FARES
The fare to transfer to Marrakech city center (too old town or Gueliz) is MAD 70.
Some drivers may be reticent to travel at the rate of MAD 70 so the cost may vary between MAD 150-800 according to your negotiation skills.
The fare you will pay for your ride will vary depending on whether you opt to travel in a grand taxi, which can accommodate up to 6 passengers, or a petite taxi, which can carry up to 3 passengers.
